Nintendo Wii Controllers

Nintendo Wii Remote

Nintendo Wii Remote The Nintendo Wii remote is quite a revolution in the gaming world. Nintendo have gone a step further than Microsoft and Sony, who have stayed with the more traditional controller design.

Nintendo have produced a controller that includes a three-axis motion sensor. Players will no longer be restricted to buttons and joysticks. Control of games is simply done by tilting and swinging the controller.

Possible uses of the remote in game situations:
  • Tennis Game - it serves as your racket as you swing your arm.
  • Driving Games - it serves as your steering wheel.
  • First Person Shooter Games - it serves as your weapon to point at the enemy.
Wii Remote also includes a speaker, rumble feature and expansion port for additional input devices, such as the Nunchuk.

Nintendo Wii Nunchuk

Nintendo Wii Nunchuk The Nunchuk connects to the Wii Remote at its expansion port. The nunchuk has the same motion sensors as the remote. In addition to this though, the Nunchuk also includes an analog stick. This will enable players to move their characters with the stick, while performing specific actions with the remote.

In addition to the analog stick, the Nunchuk has two buttons.
